Those things I’ve been calling “tantrums”?

Those were more like starter tantrums. Mosquito bite tantrums.

We just had a real tantrum. An hour long fit of screaming and crying. I don’t mind admitting some of the tears were mine. Because when your kid is crying like that? You automatically assume he’s dying. Or it’s your fault. Or he’s never ever going to stop.

He’s sleeping now. The nap that triggered the tantrum in the first place.

I’m having a cookie while I try to stop shaking.
