1. Thanks to everyone who commented on my crazy post. I’m doing much better now. A good cry and a nap work wonders. Also, having your husband’s go-ahead to look for a babysitter to come in for a couple of hours a week. Being a mom is crazy hard. Imagine being at your job, like 15 hours a day. Except you also have to clean your boss’s ass and feed him every 2 hours.

2. When I was in the hospital all loopy and tired from delivering Brandon, I got a phone call that nearly made me cry. It was from Lafix, just calling to say yay for baby birthing. That phone call was out of the blue and meant so much to me, but it’s typical of how very special Laura is. Happy birthday L. I love you with my whole heart.

3. Somewhere in the world there is a picture of me crouching down between sunnybucket’s legs. You get no context. Jessica was a friend from the moment we said hi, and hopefully will continue to be so for years to come. Happy birthday J. I love you and I miss your face.
